This is a simple but beautiful & authentic Mikimoto Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl solitaire ring.

The pearl is 8.00mm round. It has great luster with rosy pink overtones. It is set in place by claw prongs and fine under gallery work. 

It is stamped "M" in a clamshell for Mikimoto and "S" in a square for silver. Ring size is 6 US. From Japan, 1920's-1960's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
